N. L. Dalmia is back with UTKARSH 2016!!!

Utkarsh is a National Level Paper Presentation competition organized by the HR Club of N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research (NLDIMSR). Over the years Utkarsh has strived to be the focal point of young opinions on the paradigm of the current business environment. The focus is on promoting thought leadership with a holistic view of the HR function.
As every year, our inclusive platform invites views on the topic of Rethinking Human Resource Management in the Digital Era, where management students across the country can send us their reports. The choicest reports will then be selected and the respective teams can present and answer the questions posed by the jury members.
The world of work is undergoing a seismic shift. Technology is changing the way we work, communicate, relate & in fact, the way we live. This interconnected evolution has made managing human & talent issues the foremost challenge of the business enterprises.
HR can help business leaders and employees shift to a digital way of managing, organizing, and leading change and revolutionize employee experience.
UTKARSH gives you the opportunity to explore how we can reimagine HR in this age of digitization. Send us your views and watch them being presented in front of elite faculty and industry stalwarts.

Who can participate:
 All 1st year and 2nd year students of all Full time MBA or equivalent program recognized by AICTE
 A team can have a combination of 1st year and 2nd year student. In case of two teams, no member should be common

Flow of event:

 Soft copy of the written report should be emailed to utkarshnld@gmail.com on or before 30th September.
 Teams are requested not to reveal their institute’s name or participant names anywhere in the report
 Mention the following details in the email which you would have attached the report: Name of participants, Contact number, Name of institute
 Five teams will be shortlisted on the basis of the written report. The five finalists will be declared on 4th October, 16.The same will be communicated via email and phone.
 In the final event, the five teams have to present a power point presentations of 15mins duration to a panel of judges. Presentation will be followed by 10 minutes of Question & Answer session. Weightage of report is 40% and presentation of report is 60%.
 The final presentation should be emailed to utkarshnld@gmail.com on or before 21st October, 16
 Outstation teams who make it to the finals will be reimbursed 3 tier AC return fare from the location of participant’s institute to Mumbai (Shortest Route).
Also, accommodation for outstation teams will be taken care of by N.L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research
 Scores will not be disclosed and decision of judges will be final. Any disputes arising will be subject to Mumbai Jurisdiction
